Making History: Eminem Becomes 1st Artist With 8 Consecutive #1 Album Debuts

Despite Revival‘s lukewarm reception, Eminem’s ninth studio album will debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending December 21, according to Billboard. Out of the 267,000 album equivalent units sold, 197,000 were traditional album sales. This accomplishment also marks the first time in history an artist has earned eight consecutive #1 album debuts.
Em joins an elite list of luminaries who rank as the sixth-most leaders in the Billboard 200’s history, including country star Kenny Chesney, pop queen Madonna and Irish rock legends U2. The Beatles and JAY-Z have 19 and 14, respectively.

Mr. Marshall Mathers’ last seven releases — The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013), Recovery (2010), Relapse (2009), Curtain Call: The Hits (2005), Encore (2004), The Eminem Show (2002) and The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) — all debuted at #1. His inaugural album, The Slim Shady LP, hit the chart at #2 in 1999.
After months of teasing the project, Revival was finally released on December 15. It includes several pop features peppered throughout the album from artists like P!nk, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran. A video for the lead single, “Walk On Water,” was officially released via YouTube on Sunday (December 24).

Coolio Thinks Donald Trump Disses Could Get Eminem Killed

2020 vice-presidential hopeful Coolio provided some words of warning to Eminem following the high-profile lyrical attacks the Revival rhymer aimed at Donald Trump.
When asked if he believes that Trump will go at Eminem after getting dissed at the BET Hip Hop Awards and on Em’s new album, Coolio says Trump is capable of doing anything, even having Eminem killed.
It’s unclear just how serious Coolio was with his warning, but he was clear in his belief that Trump is “a weirdo.”
“He’s a weirdo. He might do anything. Ain’t no telling. He might have Eminem killed. You never know. Don’t be surprised if Eminem come up dead,” Coolio said while speaking with TMZ.

Prior to speaking on Trump and Eminem, the “Gangsta’s Paradise” rapper spoke on how the current generation of artists is more likely to rap about partying than it is to drop bars on the pertinent issues of the day.
“People don’t wanna talk about nothing these days,” he said. “They just wanna have fun and party and bullshit, so that’s what it is. Nobody wants to hear anything that’s stimulating in thought. We been conditioned like that for a long time. Especially youngsters. They don’t want anything that’s controversial really. Because they don’t got time for that.”

Eminem 'Revival' Leak

"Currently listening to the leak of Revival, I'm gonna either kms or enjoy this."
Just hours before its official release, Eminem's ninth studio album 'Revival' has leaked online.
The record is scheduled to drop tomorrow (Friday 15th December) but unfortunately for the Detroit rapper and his label, the songs have already been exposed.
Despite the leaks being removed at a very rapid pace, fans are already listening - and subsequently reviewing - the long-awaited release from Shady.
Listeners have already shared their divided opinions on the album's lead singles, the Beyoncé-assisted 'Walk On Water' and last week's 'Untouchable'.
And, judging by the latest Tweets following the recent leak, fans continue have mixed feelings on the new drop.

Eminem's "Revival" Leaks 2 Days Before Release

Eminem's "Revival" Leaks 2 Days Before Release

Instagram/Revival

Fans are listening to the Eminem’s album before its actual release, probably to the chagrin of Interscope and Shady Records. Slim Shady’s highly anticipated Revival LP leaked two days earlier, though links are getting taken down at a rapid pace.
Due to the rise of streaming, the album leak has become less common than it was just a few years ago. While projects regularly surfaced days or weeks before the release date in the past, it’s become less common these days. If an artist was going to buck that trend, it’s hardly shocking it would be Eminem.

Revival officially drops on Friday (December 15). Eminem’s new album features guest appearances by BeyoncéPHresher, Kehlani, Skylar Grey, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, P!nk and X Ambassadors.

Eminem unleashes freestyle rap attack on 'kamikaze, racist, orange' Trump

The rapper Eminem performed a freestyle takedown of President Trump on television Tuesday, calling out the hypocrisy of his extravagant travel, his bumbling incompetence, and his disrespect for a POW before dubbing him “Donald the bitch.”
The performance was perhaps the most prominent instance of a white celebrity defending the NFL players protesting the killing of African Americans by police officers.
And the flagrant disrespect the entertainer showed for the president felt like karma, and not just because Trump has called the protesting NFL players sons of bitches. Recall that during last year’s Republican primary, Trump was able to excel in part by taking advantage of the fact that he had no respectability to maintain, no sense of shame or decency to limit him, and no reputation for good character to lose.
None of the other candidates could pull off bragging about their penis size on stage, insulting a rival’s wife, or appending juvenile nicknames to competing pols. The Access Hollywood tape would’ve sunk any other candidate. But why would it lower anyone’s opinion of a man who gave a radio host permission to call his daughter “a piece of ass”?

To fight Trump as Trump fought would have required a Jeb Bush or John Kasich or Marco Rubio to embarrass their mothers, spouses, and kids, to sully their souls and their respectability.
Eminem is not similarly constrained.
The superstar rapper has been marshaling profane lyrics, rejecting political correctness, calling out hypocrisy, and raising a defiant middle finger at critics for 25 years, a period in which he became one of the world’s best-selling recording artists. His many fans appreciate that he says what he thinks. Oh, and he’s from the Rust Belt. If there’s a more apt foil for Trump, or any celebrity of comparable stature who could seem half as authentic calling him “Trump the bitch” on national TV (while insisting that the president doesn’t have the balls to respond), I don’t know who it is.
And yes, “Trump the bitch” is too vulgar for many to celebrate. Alas, as long as Trump inhabits the White House, Eminem-style vulgarity is presidential. Trump’s banter with Billy Bush was certainly more degraded than anything in Eminem’s substantively civic video, where after a few fits and starts, the flow smooths out and the blows start to land:

Eminem underscored the irony of his emergence as a moralizing political critic with the line, “Trump, when it comes to giving a shit, you’re as stingy as I am!” In fact, Eminem’s reputation for not giving a shit, his impulse to burn everything down—if only metaphorically—with his lyrics, and his explicit hostility to the notion of serving as a role model, lend a fraught wrinkle to his turn as an earnest denouncer of Trump’s depredations. If Eminem feels a need to object, if Eminem can easily seize the moral high ground from the president of the United States, and if it now falls to Eminem of all people to defend core civic values, what does that say about us?
Yet here we are, with years of Trump ahead of us, and all divisions his tenure will stoke. “Any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his / I’m drawing in the sand a line,” Eminem rapped. “You’re either for or against / And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split / on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this [middle finger].”
Will the president respond?
Said an observer on Reddit, “never underestimate Trump’s stupidity, but I have to believe someone on his staff would physically remove the phone from his hand before he started a war of words with a master battle rapper with 21,000,000 followers.”
In this chaos presidency, with even Eminem worried that the erratic president who commands the U.S. military may needlessly start a war that kills millions, that doesn’t seem a safe bet.

Samsung Just Destroyed A Guy’s Dick Pic Joke With A Single Emoji

It all started when Samsung recently asked people to tweet the first pictures that they took with their Galaxy S8s. Many people politely did as requested, but there’s always one person who wants to ruin it for everybody else. In this case that person was @savEdward, who told Samsung that the first pic they took was in fact a picture of their genitalia. Unfazed by Edward’s attempt at humor however, Samsung shot back with a single hilarious emoji that spoke much louder than words ever could. See for yourself below. The moral of the story? Don’t mess with Samsung!

Samsung recently asked people to send them the first pictures they took with their Galazy S8

They probably weren’t expecting this kind of response

But their answer couldn’t have been funnier

It didn’t take long for the internet to show its appreciation
